چکیده
The extensive use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture poses serious collateral problems such as environmental pollution, pest resistance development and food safety decline. Researches focused on developing organic from waste to partially replace fertilizer is increasing due the requirement sustainable development. Therefore, a pot experiment was carried out study effect made seaweed shrimp improving crop growth soil pH green mustards. Three treatments were set up: (SSF), (OF) (CF). Although SSF treatment had highest number leaves plant height, ANOVA showed no significant differences between three treatments. Soil SS (pH= 7.43) also higher than OF 6.49) CF 7.07) though observed. produced using comparable other suitable for growing leafy vegetables. production extract head can be new wave promoting yields.

Thermal and pressure stability of myrosinase enzymes from black mustard (Brassica nigra L. W.D.J. Koch. var. nigra), brown mustard (Brassica juncea L. Czern. var. juncea) and yellow mustard (Sinapsis alba L. subsp. maire) seeds.
This study investigates the effects of temperature and pressure on inactivation of myrosinase extracted from black, brown and yellow mustard seeds. Brown mustard had higher myrosinase activity (2.75 un/mL) than black (1.50 un/mL) and yellow mustard (0.63 un/mL). The extent of enzyme inactivation increased with pressure (600-800 MPa) and temperature (30-70° C) for all the mustard seeds. However,...
متن کاملThe Potency of Red Seaweed (Eucheuma cottonii) Extracts as Hepatoprotector on Lead Acetate-induced Hepatotoxicity in Mice
BACKGROUND Lead is one of the most toxic metals, producing severe organ damage in animals and humans. Oxidative stress is reported to play an important role in lead acetate-induced liver injury. AIM This study was carried out to investigate the role of ethanol extract of Eucheuma cottonii in protecting against lead acetate-induced hepatotoxicity in male mice. MATERIALS AND METHODS The sampl...

AIM To assess the effect of mustard cake (Brassica juncea L.) levels in concentrate mixtures and in composite feed mixtures (CFMs) on in-vitro fermentation characteristics and methane production. MATERIALS AND METHODS Five concentrate mixtures were prepared with containing 30% oil cake, where linseed cake was replaced by mustard cake at the rate of 0%, 7.5%, 15.0%, 22.5%, and 30% in concentra...
متن کاملASSESSING APHID INFESTATION IN INDIAN MUSTARD (Brassica juncea L.) UNDER PRESENT AND FUTURE CLIMATE SCENARIOS
Mustard (Brassica juncea L.) production in India suffers from aphid, Lipaphis erysimi (Kaltenbach), infestation considerably. Role of weather on the incidence and development of mustard aphids was assessed from experimental data from six north Indian locations. Aphid appearance and population build up was found to be regulated by temperature and time to attain peak population was relatively sho...
